Aptar Pharma has announced the addition of molding capabilities to its OINDP manufacturing facility in Mumbai, India, which was opened in 2023. According to the announcement, “The investment reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to India as a strategic growth market and strengthens its ability to serve customers in India and across Southeast Asia with greater agility, reliability and proximity.” The company also points out that it has been manufacturing inhaled and nasal drug delivery devices in Mumbai since early 2012.
Aptar President and CEO Gael Touya commented, “As global pharmaceutical markets continue to evolve, India plays an increasingly important role in Aptar Pharma’s long-term strategy. This investment demonstrates our confidence in the market, our commitment to the region and our focus on creating a more agile and resilient manufacturing network closer to our customers.”
