US-based CDMO Ritedose Corporation, which manufactures its own inhalation products in addition to offering contract manufacturing services, has announced the appointment of experienced inhalation business executive Carolyn Berg as VP of Strategic Growth. Berg was most recently VP of Business Development, Inhalation, at Catalent Pharma Solutions. Prior to joining Catalent, she held a number of roles in marketing and business strategy, including leadership in commercialization of respiratory drugs at Cipla and Teva.
In June 2024, Ritedose announced an expansion of its Blow Fill Seal capacity to add an additional 180 million unit doses of opthalmic and respiratory solutions. In September 2025, the company said that it planned to add 10,000 sq ft of cGMP laboratory space.
Ritedose offers contract manufacturing for inhalation solutions and suspensions through to commercialization including, for example, Verona Pharma’s Ohtuvayre ensifentrine. Its own product catalog includes a dozen inhalation solutions, including albuterol, tobramycin, and formoterol fumarate.
