OINDP instrument and testing specialist Proveris Scientific, which was acquired by Investindustrial earlier this year, has announced that experienced life sciences executive Daniel Tereau is the company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer 2026. Tereau was most recently a managing partner at Optivyn Advisors and previously served in executive strategy and business development roles at Revvity (formerly PerkinElmer), Novartis Consumer Health, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and GE Healthcare over two decades.
Tereau succeeds Chip Leveille as President, with Leveille now acting as “Executive Advisor to the CEO and Board,” and he succeeds company founder Dino Farina as CEO, with Farina transitioning to Chief Technology Officer.
Farina commented, “Dan brings extensive experience leading and growing businesses across the life sciences sector, together with a strong understanding of strategy, technology and global markets. Proveris has built a distinctive position through its scientific expertise, specialized technologies and long-standing customer relationships across the industry. We are pleased to welcome Dan as President and CEO and look forward to working with him and our partner Investindustrial as Proveris enters its next stage of growth.”
Tereau said, “Proveris has built an impressive business on deep scientific knowledge, highly specialized technology and a close understanding of its customers. I am excited to join the company and work with the team to build on that foundation. There is significant opportunity to expand our capabilities, strengthen our global presence and continue developing solutions that help customers address increasingly complex challenges in drug and device development.”
