Kither Biotech has announced the initiation of a Phase 1b /2a study of KIT2014 inhaled PDE3/4 inhibitor in patients with COPD. The company recently announced results from a Phase 1 trial of KIT2014 in healthy participants. The new 7-day dose-ranging study is expected to enroll 36 adults with moderate-to-severe COPD and will compare up to 3 dose levels of nebulized KIT2014 to nebulized placebo. Topline results are expected in early 2027.

This study will investigate the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of KIT2014, as well as early signs of efficacy, in patients with moderate to severe COPD.”
