Scienture launches Rezenopy naloxone nasal spray in the US

Scienture Holdings announced that the company has launched Rezenopy naloxone nasal spray in the US. Scienture acquired the US rights to Rezenopy from Summit Biosciences, a subsidiary of Kindeva Drug Delivery, in 2025. The FDA approved Summit’s NDA for Rezenopy for the reversal of opiate overdose in 2024.

Scienture President and Co-CEO Narasimhan Mani commented, “The launch of Rezenopy represents an important step in the continued expansion of our commercial portfolio. As our second FDA-approved commercial product, Rezenopy expands our portfolio of revenue-generating assets and leverages the commercial infrastructure we have established to support future growth. We believe Rezenopy’s position as the highest-dose FDA-approved naloxone hydrochloride nasal spray, combined with broad institutional purchasing access, provide a strong foundation for market adoption.”

Executive Chairman and Co-CEO Shankar Hariharan added, “Over the past year, we have focused on building the infrastructure required to support a successful launch, from manufacturing and supply chain readiness to distribution, market access, and commercial execution. As Rezenopy begins reaching customers nationwide, our focus is on driving adoption, expanding our commercial footprint, and establishing the product as another meaningful contributor to the company’s long-term focus on revenue growth.”
