German CDMO LTS Lohmann has announced that it will acquire US-based CDMO Renaissance Lakewood, which specializes in injectables and nasal sprays. According to the announcement, Renaissance currently employs approximately 500 employees. LTS currently offers services for a variety of delivery forms and has manufacturing facilities in Germany, the US, and Israel.
According to Renaissance’s web site, the company’s Lakewood, New Jersey site was opened in 1979 and acquired by West Pharmaceutical in 1995. The facility was acquired by DPT Labs in 2001, and DPT was acquired by Renaissance in 2012. In 2023, Renaissance announced a major expansion of its nasal spray labs in Lakewood and the company opened new headquarters in 2024.
