Pulmodyne and Alcove Manufacturing and Distribution have announced a new partnership for manufacturing and distribution of Alcove’s EZ-Spray intranasal mucosal atomization device and said that Pulmodyne is set to begin manufacturing and distributing EZ-Spray devices by the end of 2021. The two companies also said that they also intend to develop new atomization products for intranasal drug delivery, with those products expected to launch by the end of 2022.
Alcove’s EZ-Spray range includes single-use, gas-powered atomizers. Pulmodyne already markets syringe-based intranasal atomization devices called DART and DART-Reach.
