Poster abstracts from graduate students that are accepted for the conference will automatically be entered into competition for the VCU RDD Peter R. Byron Graduate Student Award A selection of posters will also be presented in a Posters on the Podium session. To be eligible for the Posters on the Podium session, the poster author must attend the meeting in person.

Proposed topics for the 2022 meeting include:
- New Therapeutics and Clinical Innovations
- Early-Stage Product Innovations
- Advancing Regulatory Science (Innovator & Generic)
- Pulmonary and Nasal Devices, including Connectivity and Sustainability
- Pulmonary and Nasal Formulations (including MDI,DPI, Nebulizer, Soft Mist)
- Instrumentation, Testing and Modeling
Proposals that fall outside of these topics are also welcome
RDD 2022 is scheduled to take place in Orlando, FL, USA, May 1-5, 2022
