Swedish DPI company Iconovo has announced the appointment of Roger Lassing as Vice President Business Development. Lassing, who was most recently Senior Manager of Global Business Development at LEO Pharma, has previously held executive positions at Takeda, Nycomed, and AstraZeneca, where he was Global Brand Manager for Symbicort.
Over the past few years, Iconovo has announced DPI development deals with a number of companies, including Amneal, Intas Pharmaceuticals, and TOA. Additionally, the company has said that it is working with McMaster University on development of an inhaled dry powder tuberculosis vaccine.
Iconovo CEO Orest Lastow commented, “Roger brings a lot of valuable experience and knowledge from international business development. I look forward to working together with Roger to develop the commercial part of the business.”
