Senzer inhaler wins second design award

Senzer’s Systemic inhaled Delivery Device (SiDD) has won an iF Design Award in the Medicine/Health product category, the company said. The inhaler also recently won a 2018 Good Design award in the medical category.

The company is developing several cannabinoid products, including dronabinol and cannabidiol inhalers, based on the breath activated SiDD platform, which is undergoing FDA review.

Senzer Head of Design & Engineering Paul Young commented, “Scooping a second design award in another prestigious design competition once again, underscores that our approach is unique and of real merit in the pharmaceutical respiratory space. Our main motivation at Senzer is to get our devices into the hands of our target patient groups, as we are sure our platform will provide better treatment solutions for patients worldwide.”
