David Harris joins Cambridge Design Partnership

Cambridge Design Partnership (CDP) has announced the appointment of OINDP device designer David Harris to head up the company’s respiratory drug delivery development business. According to CDP, the company is entering “a new phase of growth in the sector.”

Harris was previously Head of Respiratory Drug Delivery at PA Consulting and at Team Consulting and also worked in respiratory drug delivery at Sagentia and Cambridge Consulting. He is a member of the DDL organizing committee and will be presenting a talk on “Understanding the Inspiratory Manoeuvre and Why it’s Important to DPI Design” at DDL 2018.

CDP Head of Drug Delivery Uri Baruch commented, “Innovation within this sector is paramount and we are delighted to welcome David to join our specialist team. David’s scientific background and innovation track record will enhance our expertise and capabilities, especially in the digital space, placing Cambridge Design Partnership in a unique position to provide drug delivery technology and device development for both manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies.”

Harris said, “Our aim is to bring ease of use and improved adherence to a medication regime through innovative technology and design – and to help ease the suffering of asthmatics or patients with COPD. CDP are at the forefront of innovation in drug delivery and are working with the leading companies in this field. Together, we can help improve patients’ lives.”
