Former Mylan Senior Director of Inhalation Biopharmaceutics Per Bäckman has joined Emmace Consulting as Senior Inhalation Consultant, the company has announced. Bäckman also previously held various positions at AstraZeneca, including as Principal Scientist in Inhalation Biopharmaceutics, and at Novo Nordisk.
Emmace Consulting CEO Mårten Svensson said, “Per Bäckman has joined Emmace Consulting to strengthen our capability within inhaled biopharmaceutics and predictive bio-equivalence assessment. Per brings with him more than 20 years of industry experience, including significant experience on the discovery and development of inhaled medicines. Lately, Per has been involved in the development and application of computer-based models to understand and predict the clinical performance of inhaled medicines.”
