Cambustion introduces Aerodynamic Aerosol Classifier for pharmaceutical use

Cambustion presented its Aerodynamic Aerosol Classifier (AAC), a monodisperse aerosol generation system, to a pharmaceutical audience for the first time at DDL 2017, the company said.

According to the company, the AAC, which does not require particle charging, can select out aerosols of either solid particles or liquid droplets in a range of 25 nm – 5 μm.

Cambustion Director for Aerosol Products Chris Nickolaus commented, “It’s great to be returning to the DDL conference for the first time in ten years, with a highly relevant product. We’ve been excited by the range of possible applications suggested by delegates, and look forward to working with industrial and academic partners to develop them.”
