Bayer has launched a line of saline nasal sprays for children aged 6 months and older in the US, the company said. The products, which include hydraSense Ultra-Gentle Nasal Mist, hydraSense Nasal Care Single-Use Vials and hydraSense Soft Comfort Tip Nasal Aspirator, are available exclusively at Walgreens drug stores.
The company is promoting the products as “made with mineral-rich, 100% naturally sourced seawater from the Bay of Saint-Malo, France, whose powerful tides constantly renew the seawater’s composition” instead of purified water and sodium chloride.
Bayer Consumer Health VP of US Medical Affairs André Schmidt said, “We recognize that more and more parents are searching for drug-free remedies to address their children’s delicate nasal passages.
