Entries for new DDL Emerging Scientist award due by June 30

Anyone wishing to enter the competition for the new DDL Emerging Scientist award should submit their CV and a 1000-word synopsis of their work by June 30, 2017. The winner will present the DDL Emerging Scientist Lecture during DDL 2017 and will receive £1,000 and a commemorative award.

Any inhalation scientist who received his or her PhD within the past 15 years and will be available to present at DDL 2017 is eligible to apply. Applicants must also be members of the Aerosol Society; membership is free for students and £30/year for regular members.

According to the Aerosol Society, “The DDL Committee are keen to recognize and promote individuals within inhalation science who have achieved significant scientific accomplishment or innovation during the early stages of their career.”
