You’ll work with our clients, using your experience in best practice Design For Manufacturing techniques – design experience with pMDI (metered dose inhaler valves) technology and working to FDA Design Controls would be an advantage. You’ll manage projects and work packages to design, develop and industrialize products to achieve defined performance, functional, cost and manufacturing quality requirements.

YOUR SKILLS
• Ability to work with the design authority to generate engineering solutions to challenging customer requirements whilst assessing the critical to quality and function of the designs presented
• Able to analyse and agree the optimal design using tools such as DFMEA or design of experiments and rapid prototyping
• Driven through design reviews, you’ll agree the final product design, promoting a “design freeze” point to support ‘right first time’ manufacture.

• Educated to HNC, HND or degree (or equivalent) preferably in a mechanical, production or product design subject
• Experience of pMDI / moulding / drug delivery device design for medical devices
• Experience of working in an engineering role
