Molins Technologies introduced a new lab scale version of its μ-fill powder filling machines, which have already been available in clinical development and commercial production sizes. 3P Innovation also used the meeting to launch new capsule filling machines, the R500 and R1000, which can be used for microdosing into inhalation capsules at lab, clinical, and commercial scales.

In addition to the Presspart/Cohero Health and 3MDDS smart inhalers, Crux Product Design was showing a concept smart inhaler and associated app. HC Medi demonstrated its deepro vibrating mesh nebulizers, which are designed to be water-resistant, lightweight, and attractive and can be integrated with a smartphone app.

This year’s exhibition featured fewer contests than previous years, with the PA Consulting Inspiraton inspiratory muscle strength game a notable exception.
