Inhaler component manufacturer H&T Presspart has announced the opening of a new sales office in Montevideo, Uruguay to serve customers in the South and Central American region.
In addition, Jesus Polanco, formerly Business Development Manager at H&T Presspart Tarragona has been appointed Sales and Business Development Manager Latin America, effective immediately, and Carina Sposato will take over Customer Services Latin America. The Latin America office will report to Sales Director for the Americas, Dana Shears, who is based in the US.
H&T Presspart Commercial Director Julian Hemy said, “This announcement shows our commitment to the Latin American region and will ensure that we are in the best position possible to support the strategic needs of H&T Presspart and our customer base.”
The company also said that, “As well as the opening of a sales office in South America, H&T Presspart are planning to make a significant part of this year’s investments in developing competences in the area of metered dose inhalers (MDI), an application for the medical treatment of respiratory diseases.” Asian sales and manufacturing facilities are also planned for future years.
