Johnson & Johnson subsidiary McNeil Consumer Healthcare says that Rhinocort budesonide nasal spray is now available over the counter in the US for the treatment of allergic rhinitis. McNeil acquired the OTC rights to AstraZeneca’s Rhinocort Aqua in 2014.
McNeil Consumer Healthcare Group Brand Director Purvi Farahi commented, “For consumers who are suffering from nasal allergy symptoms, works all day and all night to relieve their most frustrating nasal allergy symptoms of nasal congestion, sneezing and itchy and runny nose. Rhinocort allergy spray expands our allergy product offerings and gives these allergy sufferers a new tool in their toolkit.”
