Astech Projects acquired by Schauenburg International Group

Laboratory automation company Astech Projects has been acquired by German holding company the Schauenburg International Group. Astech Projects manufactures the Xelair, Xelize, and Xelox ranges of automated inhaler testing systems and offers systems for nasal spray and blister strip testing as well.

According to the announcement, all of the management and operations of Astech Projects will continue unchanged.

Schauenburg International CEO Florian G. Schauenburg commented, “Astech will form an interesting part and a new market and technology segment within our portfolio with great potential and synergies. It will support and complement our efforts as technology and system supplier and to a variety of activities such as e.g. the analytical and environmental monitoring market.”
