Nemera announces availability of Advancia nasal spray pumps

Nemera has announced that after investing over 10 million euros, it now has the capacity to manufacture up to 45 million units of the Advancia user-independent nasal spray pump per year. The company, which was previously known as Rexam Healthcare Devices, says that one European country has approved the Advancia drug product packaging.

Advancia is compatible with FEA 20mm crimp-on plastic or glass bottles and has a mechanical closing tip. The company will be displaying the devices at upcoming meetings, including DDL.

Nemera CEO Marc Haemel said, “There is no limit to Nemera’s ambition to serve patients. We already market devices in over 40 countries for millions of users. We’ll keep investing in new products and in state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, to help even more patients with high quality devices all over the world.”

Nemera was also recently announced as a finalist for the CPhI Best Innovation in Packaging award.
