Molecular Profiles changes name to Juniper Pharma Services

CDMO Molecular Profiles has announced that the company has a new name: Juniper Pharma Services. The company, whose services include formulation development and clinical trial manufacturing of dry powder inhalers, was acquired in 2013 by US-based Columbia Laboratories, now called Juniper Pharmaceuticals. In April 2014, Molecular Profiles announced that it planned to expand its operations in the US.

Juniper Pharma Services President Nikin Patel commented, “The single Juniper brand formalizes the experience and capabilities that have been built in Boston and Nottingham. The name change also coincides with the expansion of our service offering to the North American market. As we move forward under the Juniper brand, we remain committed to addressing the needs and challenges of the companies that rely on our contract pharmaceutical development and manufacturing services.”
