California-based CDMO Formex has announced the hires of two new scientists, Ke Shi and Wade Pathak, as well as the acquisition of new spray drying and capsule filling equipment.

The company said that it has also added a Capsugel Xcelodose microdosing system and a Niro Mobile Minor spray dryer.
