Cambridge Consultants to expand US drug delivery device development capability

Cambridge Consultants has announced plans to more than triple its US staff to 100+ over the next few years, with a focus on hiring for its medical technology business, especially drug delivery device development. The company has just moved its US headquarters to a new 20,000 sq ft facility Boston and is preparing to launch “an aggressive recruitment campaign” for engineers.

According to a company spokesperson, Cambridge Consultants is looking to expand in both parenteral and respiratory delivery, saying, “We are not limiting ourselves to numbers – our business is thriving and we have lots of exciting opportunities on the horizon. Accordingly, we will hire the right candidates as and when we see them.”

Regarding the new facility, Cambridge Consultants US General Manager David Bradshaw said, “We are thrilled to move today to our new office – a space that provides unparalleled opportunity for growth and innovation for our talented staff. Every inch of this space was thoughtfully designed to support how we work at Cambridge Consultants, and it represents our blend of technology and engineering excellence with user-focused design. We look forward to adding intelligent, passionate people to our Boston team and continuing to drive world-class innovation.”

The new US headquarters includes dedicated space for human factors activities, mechanical and electronic prototyping capabilities, and “creativity space.”
