Aptar publishes summary of roundtable on inhaler adherence

Aptar Pharma has published a white paper summarizing a roundtable discussion on inhaler adherence held in Paris, France on November 29th 2013. The panel included five experts on inhaler usage from the UK and France.

The company said, “Aptar Pharma and its distinguished scientific guests were delighted with the successful outcome of the inhaler adherence roundtable. Feedback from participants showed that this meeting provided a number of important insights and answered many questions about inhaler adherence.”

The document, titled “Inhaler Adherence: Exploring Key Factors,” covers guidelines on prescribing the appropriate inhaler for each patient, reasons for compliance failures, specific user issues, ideas for more compliance-friendly inhalers, and cost considerations. It is available on the Aptar website and on OINDPnews.com.
