Postdoctoral Fellowship

The Food and Drug Administration is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow for a one year temporary position at the Division of Pharmaceutical Analysis in St. Louis, Missouri. The successful applicant will develop and carry out experimental methods for in vitro characterization of inhalable pharmaceuticals.

Requirements: Ph.D. in physical or pharmaceutical chemistry, or engineering with experience in characterizing pharmaceutical aerosols. A working knowledge of MS Word and Excel as well as common graphics and statistical software is desirable. Experience with microscopic imaging and spectroscopy is considered a plus.

Salary is commensurate with education and experience. US citizenship, green card, EAD, OPT or CPT is required. An H1 or J1 visa cannot be sponsored for this position.
