Bangladeshi pharmaceutical company Beximco Pharma has announced the resignation of Ahsanul Karim from the Board of Directors effective as April 3, 2013 and the appointment of Faheemul Huq as a Non-Executive Director. Beximco manufactures a variety of dosage forms including metered dose inhalers, dry powder inhalers, inhalation solutions for nebulization, and nasal sprays. The company offers contract manufacturing of inhalers in addition to its own brands.
According to the company Karim resigned for personal reasons. Huq, a barrister specializing in corporate law was appointed for a three-year term subject to shareholder approval. As of his appointment, he will become chair of the audit committee.
