Copley launches pump for high flow rate cascade impaction

Copley Scientific has officially launched the SCP5 Super Capacity Pump which is capable of generating flow rates as high as 100 L/min for cascade impaction of dry powder inhalers. The new model, a 1.5 kW oil-lubricated rotary vane pump, allows labs to use a single pump for DPI testing instead of having to use two smaller pumps to generate the required flow.

According to the company, the pump’s flow control valve and regulated inlets allow for its use with other types of OINDPs, as well.
