MeadWestvaco offering customers assistance with filling lines for preservative-free pumps

MWV has announced that it will now provide pharmaceutical customers with assistance in retrofitting filling lines when they make the switch to the company’s line of preservative-free nasal spray pumps.

According to the company, “Using advanced technologies, MWV engineers model and take packaging and machinery solutions from concept to production. We customize machinery solutions to customers’ exact requirements, whether high or low speed systems, or flexible or fixed. Our engineers partner with our customers throughout systems design, development, construction, installation and training.”

“Filling machinery represents a significant investment for our customers and is integral to the manufacturing process,” said Sven-Uwe Hoehm, VP and managing director, Medical Plastics, MWV Healthcare; “By offering machinery modification, we’re helping our customers meet a market need, maximize the life of their machines and reduce additional capital requirements. With our expertise, customers can switch to our PFP solutions in less time and with greater efficiency.”
